Due to some persuasion, I decided to jailbreak my beautiful iPhone. I’ve always been a bit skeptic because I thought it would be too difficult or I would somehow destroy my phone in the process.

The process of jailbreaking seems easy enough and it is, but you just need the luck of the draw. I had problems with iTunes giving me errors when I was trying to restore it from DFU Mode, restoring it from normal mode wasn’t working either, and to fix the problem all I needed was a USB Hub. You can purchase one of these at your local electronics store for pretty cheap. I got mine for $18.99, although I could have gotten it for cheaper. Also if you happen to have Rockband for the Wii, you’ll have a USB Hub.

After about 20 attempts, I finally had a jailbroken iPhone. I immediately went and got a new theme! I downloaded most of the apps found on our “Reasons to jailbreak your iPhone” post. So far everything is going great and I’m glad I decided to jailbreak my phone! I recommend it!
